It is characterized by easy and good wood processing, durability, contrast and beautiful yellow-brown color that has a gold-plated effect in lacquered condition. Technically, the tree is slightly undervalued because it has an enviable hardness and technical characteristics. The average density of rough wood is about 0.90 g / cm³. From black locust we produce an enviable high quality classic parquet.

Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) is not a native tree species in Croatia. Throughout history it has expanded to our areas from America. Black Locust is very widespread in Croatia and it would be invasive because it grows on all terrain.
